DOLOMITAS II - Catinaccio

[Dobra]

Punto de partida: Refugio Gardeccia (1950 m.) al que se llega en minibús desde Pera di Fassa, ya que la carretera es solo para vehículos autorizados, creo que costaba 7 € por persona (ida y vuelta).

Desde el refugio Gardeccia:






Después de mucho rompernos la cabeza con los mapas, ya que queríamos hacer una ruta circular, decidimos intentar una que tenia muy buena pinta pero que según el mapa tenia unos cuantos pasos complicados, además no estaba numerada y era bastante larga pero queríamos intentarlo.

Poco a poco comenzábamos a ver la famosa Torre de Vajolet (2813 m.)


Al principio la ruta me recordaba mucho a Asturias, sin gente y por un sendero muy estrecho, sin apenas señalización


además veíamos bajo nosotros la marea de gente (y lo que no era gente) que subía por el camino habitual


Hasta que llegamos a un punto en el que el camino prácticamente desaparecía sobre un precipicio, no quisimos arriesgar sin conocer donde nos íbamos a meter y decidimos bajar al refugio Vajolet por otro camino.

Pero mereció la pena haber venido por aquí, las vistas son fantásticas y un gran mirador de todos los caminos que surcan el Catinaccio




Con unas vistas de la Torre de Vajolet que no tendríamos en el camino habitual

Por donde hemos venido


El camino que sube al refugio Rey Alberto I (2621 m.)


Aquí dudamos si subir al refugio Rey Alberto o seguir por el Val de Vaiolet, finalmente seguimos por este ultimo, para llegar al refugio Passo Principe.


Vamos dejando atrás el refugio Vajolet.


Y aparece frente a nosotros la impresionante mole del Catinaccio D'Artemoia (3002 m.)


En el refugio Passo Principe (2601 m.) tenemos unas magnificas vistas del valle por el que hemos subido


Siguiente destino: Passo Artemoia (2770 m.)

Una vez aquí, decidimos subir a un pico cercano creo que puede ser la cima Scalieret (2887 m.) y quedarnos sin conocer el lago de Artemoia, otra vez sera

Ahora a volver por donde hemos venido, excepto el ultimo tramo que lo haríamos por el camino habitual, que pasa bajo la Torre de Vajolet


Para llegar de nuevo al punto de partida, el refugio Gardeccia.


Una ruta alucinante, de las mejores que hicimos.
Espero que no se haga muy pesado, quizás sean demasiadas fotos pero se hace tremendamente difícil descartar entre tantas fotografías (mas de 150 solo ese día).
