The "Eat My Dust" Daily Challenge in Forza Horizon 6 is a straightforward Festival Playlist event featured during the Summer season of Series 1. While it looks incredibly simple on paper, completing it requires you to earn six Pass Skills in any Dirt Race. If you are currently tearing through the new map and trying to tick this off your playlist tracker, a few minor tracking quirks can occasionally get in the way.

Below is the full breakdown of the requirements, rewards, and community-tested strategies to make sure you complete the challenge successfully without losing your sanity.

Challenge Requirements
To complete the challenge, you must fulfill the following criteria during your race:

Event Type: Any official Dirt Race or Dirt Trail event. The Airfield Trail is an excellent, wide-open option for this.

Skill Required: Earn a total of 6 Pass Skills during the race. A Pass Skill is awarded when you cleanly overtake a Drivatar opponent at a relatively high speed without heavily crashing into them or using them as a brake cushion.

Vehicle Restrictions: There are no specific car restrictions. You can use any vehicle capable of entering a dirt racing event, from retro rally legends to upgraded JDM favorites.

Completion Rewards
Fulfilling the objective rewards you with standard Series 1 Summer daily challenge items to boost your seasonal progression:

1 Playlist Point towards your Summer Season and Series 1 total progression.

5,000 Credits deposited directly into your in-game wallet.

Pro-Tips & Troubleshooting
Many players in the community have reported tracking issues or missed tallies with this specific challenge. If you want to make sure it unlocks cleanly on your first attempt, follow these tested strategies:

Bank Your Skills: You must cleanly bank the skill points. If you get a Pass Skill notification and immediately smash into a stone wall or a guardrail, breaking your current skill chain, the pass will not register for the playlist tracker. Overtake smoothly, hold your line, and let the skill chain tally up and disappear from the screen before getting reckless again.

Do It in a Single Race: The cumulative tracking for this daily challenge does not carry over across multiple separate events. You need to pull off all 6 clean passes within the duration of one individual race.

The "Rubberband" Method: If you find yourself running out of cars to pass because you hit first place too quickly, drop your game difficulty down to "Tourist". Drive straight to the front, pull over to the side of the track to let the entire Drivatar pack pass you by, wait a moment for your current skill chain to bank, and then accelerate to overtake them all over again.

The Mid-Race Restart Fix: If the challenge completely refuses to track after a clean run, load into a short dirt race like the Airfield Trail. As soon as the countdown finishes and the race begins, hit pause and select "Restart" from the menu. This quick reset has been noted by players to force the background tracking system to wake up and display notifications properly.
