Aquí os dejo un mini report que hice esta mañana de la nevada del 30 de abril de 2004 en Valgrande-Pajares.net ANIMO QUE EL INVIERNO NO SE HA ACABADO, al menos en la montaña!

No se si alguien lo recuerda, pero os lo recuerdo yo.

El 1 de Mayo de 2004 se esquió en Pajares. La semana pasada la estación ya se había cerrado por falta de nieve. Yo esquié el domingo 25 de abril de ese año y la palina daba pena, era lo unico abierto también. La cosa es que al par de días la temporada se dió por acabada. Pero... el 30 de abril de 2004 cayó la gran nevada propiciada por un frente frío, que dejó nevadas a 1000 metros y se reabrió la estación con el Valle del Sol. Lo recuerdo especialmente porque el 30 de abril es mi cumpleaños (apunten fechas, espero sus regalos  )

Este post es para deciros que no os desanimeis que aún queda temporada. Y también por lo gracioso que me hace esta noticia, de una web italiana, haciendose eco de la tardía nevada payariega.

Pues yo no me acordaba la verdad. He tenido que tirar de libreta. Resulta que fue un día bastante frío para finales de abril. En Lugones tuvimos una máxima de 16,5ºC pero la mínima se deplomó hasta los 5,7ºC coincidiendo con una granizada. La cota de nieve que habían pronosticado para Asturias era de 800m aunque nevó en cotas inferiores. También tengo anotado que aquel día llegaron a estar cinco puertos con cadenas. Sin duda una buena despedida de mes. Mayo comenzaría también con una mañana fresca con sólo 5,2ºC.. Además era el principio de una situación que tendría continuidad. Como ejemplo las cotas pronosticadas para esos días en Asturias:

1 de mayo:   800m
2 de mayo: 1100m
3 de mayo: 1300m
4 de mayo: 1100m
5 de mayo:   800m
6 de mayo:   800m
7 de mayo:   900m
8 de mayo:   800m

Jotaeme voi a pedirte que tires de libreta. Hace tiempo leyendo por el foro y comentarios de la gente, en el verando de 2002 (creo que julio) bajo la cota a 1500m hecho esto muy extraordinario. Mira ver si me lo puedes confirmar o la cota que hubo exactamente.

Lo siento mucho Karlos pero en mi libreta solo figuran con detalle los meses de Noviembre a Abril. Los veranos siempre me relajo y apenas apunto nada. Un dato como ese debería tenerlo apuntado pero ese verano no apunté nada, lo cual no significa que no se produjera.
