Hi everyone,

I am currently planning the exit strategy for my specialized engineering firm, and I am trying to figure out the best date to file my final paperwork.

Is it better to wait until the end of the financial year, or should I do it the moment my turnover drops below the threshold?

I don't want to jump the gun and cause an unnecessary audit, but I also don't want to keep filing returns that I no longer need to submit. Does anyone know the specific rules for when can you deregister VAT?
