At the dates that you want to come to Picos probably you will find still snow at the highest zones (+1700 msm) . You perhaps will need winter mountain material like crampons to walk for some zones. In slower highs you wouldn´t find problems with the snow.
The weather on spring is very variable in Asturias and Picos and it`s easy to rain some day while you stay here.

as you may have already noticed, the last forecasts for this week are not very good if what you are looking for is sunny weather. From Wednesday on, heavy rain will appear and there is also a chance of having snow at the top of the highest mountains (>2000m).
If you've already booked your trip and you come across this situation, don't panic! You will find something interesting to visit for sure !

Yes, now I'm getting a lot worried about this situation. I still can cancel my trip. I think that probably thursday and friday will still be days with a lot of rain. But I'm supposing from what I've seen, that Saturday and Sunday will be a lot sunnier, with little or no rain.
Can anyone shed more light on this matter? :)

I just want to thank you all for your support and advice. We stayed from 27 to 30 of April near Picos de Europa and had a good time there. The weather was ok... :P and we even managed to do the Desfiladeiro de Cares walk without any rain ;D
