Partimos del Matreier Tauernhaus (1501 m.)

Tenemos que atravesar un enorme valle, el Gschlossbach

Innergschloss (1689 m.), donde la mayoría de la gente finalizaba la ruta tomándose una cervecita en la terraza.

Un poco mas adelante se llega al final del valle, se cruza el río y comienza la subida, nos encontramos con esta cascada por la que desagüa el Glaciar.

El Vorderer Kesselkopf (2997 m.), después bajaremos por esa ladera.

A menos de 2000 m. comenzamos a pisar nieve y a partir de esa cota el espesor ya era considerable.
El Grossvenediger (3662 m.), el Kleinvenediger (3460 m.) y el glaciar Schlatenkees.

Debemos perder un poco de altura para cruzar el río

Nos acercamos al Auge Gottes, una impresionante morrena, que lo sería aún mas sino estuviera parcialmente cubierta por la nieve

Comenzamos el descenso con algunas dificultades debido a la nieve, siempre con estupendas vistas sobre el precioso valle

Fueron 18 km de ruta con unos 800 m. de desnivel.

Que zona tan bonita! Grandes cumbres, glaciares impresionantes, esos pueblos, ese río, esas cascadas...ALPES 100%!
Impresionate la capilla incrustada en la roca.
Y de las cumbres me quedo con la pared del Kristallwand :o :o :o
